Hello and welcome to my artsy blog. I am 65 years old and I’ve been married to the man who gives me butterflies in my stomach for 42 years. I have two grown children and two grandchildren. I’ve always been creative, but never had the chance to do it full time because I’ve been either taking care of my kids or working. I am now retired and now I have the time; not only to create, but to blog about it. I started out creating a heritage album when my dad turned 97. I asked my aunt, his sister, to lend me some pictures of him when he was baby. Surprisingly, she loaned me the whole collection of family photos. It took me about a month to finish and I did it with a handful of supplies. I started taking online classes to learn mixed media and card making and now you find me working in my very own craft room. It is never too late to find out who you want to be.
