Happy Monday everyone!
Thia Gielow, from Spiced Sunshine Stamps, sent me the cutest set to try out. I really like them. “The stamps are latex free, environmentally friendly and have no harmful compounds” – says her web page. I like that they have a slight tint for great positioning and great cling to reposition on the acrylic block.
I made this card using white card stock, distress inks, stencils, and the Spiced Sunshine set. I first positioned the stencil on the bottom of the base and stamped the word Hello several times, then went back and using the sponge, I colored in the grass on the “hill.” The other elements were stamped using distress inks.
I mixed two different colors, yellow and orange, to give the sun some depth, cut it out, and used dimentionals to pop it up. Don’t you just love the smiley face? The stamp comes with four different faces to choose from.

And here is the card. Thanks, Thia, for letting me try out your stamps – I absolutely love them!!
Carmen…I love how you used the Hello stamp on the grass! Beautiful! I’m glad you like the stamps and found them easy to use! -Thia
